lass Description:  Over time your entire body accommodates and adapts, forming unhealthy patterns of moving.  The subtle movements of the Feldenkrais Method® retrain your brain to re-establish a healthy way of using your body.  There is much Peer-Reviewed Research documenting how the results can be dramatic for you.:   regained or improved mobility, pain relief, efficiency and ease of movement, motor functioning, breathing, and blood circulation as well as increased self-awareness.

I, Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, James Speer, guide class participants, such as yourself, through a series of slow and gentle movement sequences, the goal being to expand a client's kinesthetic, or bodily, awareness of themselves.  By a person (you) encompassing more of themselves, rather, having a greater self-image, you therefore learn a "new pattern for movement", and pain or discomfort is alleviated.

These relaxing movements will engage you in a precisely structured movement exploration to make you more aware of your habitual neuromuscular patterns and rigidities and expand your options for new ways of moving while increasing sensitivity and improving efficiency.


These classes allow you to receive the sensory-motor experience of what it's like to move easily and comfortably in your life, without having to otherwise experience pain or discomfort.  You'll be moving freely, effortlessly, pleasantly.

Class Description:As a musician, or someone who enjoys playing music, would yuliketo improve your prowess, dexterity, breathing or be able to play wit total grace and pleasure, without experiencing any pain or discomfort?

As a Feldenkrais practitioner, my group class will help you to expand your kinesthetic, or bodily, awareness of yourself.  By you "encompassing more of yourself", attaining a greater self-image, often times, pain o discomfort is eliminated.

I will verbally direct you through a series of comfortable movement sequences that will engage you in a precisely structured movement exploration to make you more aware of your habitual neuromuscular patterns and rigidities and expand your options for new ways of moving while increasing sensitivity and improving efficiency.
